Standard Heat Transfer Films

POLI-FLEX® TURBO is a versatile and widely used heat transfer film compatible with cotton, polyester, uncoated nylon, and blends such as polyester/cotton and polyester/acrylic. It’s suitable for use on sportswear, leisurewear, sports bags, and promotional clothing. For coated nylon, we recommend carrying out a suitability test before application. This film can be cut using all current plotters – we suggest using a standard 45° blade. Once cut and weeded, the design is applied using a heat press, bonding firmly to the fabric for a durable, wash-resistant finish. Its fast press time and wide material compatibility make POLI-FLEX® TURBO a dependable choice for both large production runs and smaller custom jobs.

Specialty Garment Films

For customers looking for distinctive finishes, ATC stocks a number of garment films that deliver added visual impact.

Poli-Flex Image Carbon Fibre offers a textured look with a lightly embossed surface. Available in four colours, it produces a modern, high-impact appearance while maintaining flexibility and comfort. It is compatible with the same wide range of fabrics as standard heat transfer films.

Pearl Glitter Garment Film creates a sparkling, glitter-effect finish using a blend of glitter powder. This film is ideal for decorative garments, dancewear, and promotional clothing that needs to stand out. It adheres well to cotton, polyester/cotton blends, and polyester/acrylic fabrics, adding a touch of shimmer to any design.

Starflex Garment Film features a holographic effect, offering a unique reflective finish that changes appearance depending on the light and angle. This film is laminated with a heat-activated adhesive and is suitable for use on standard textiles and promotional items like sports bags and casual wear. It is a popular choice for creating high-visibility logos and decorative patterns.

Printable Garment Films

Poli-Print 4030 is an 80 micron opaque white printable PU garment film designed for use with solvent, eco-solvent, and latex ink printers. It can be used on both light and dark textiles and offers a high-resolution print with a semi-matt finish. Suitable for detailed full-colour transfers, this material allows you to print custom designs before heat-pressing them onto the garment. It is ideal for custom clothing, event wear, and branded merchandise. Poli-Print 4030 is available in 1520mm widths on special order, making it suitable for both small jobs and high-volume production.

To support the application of printed designs, Poli-Tack 854 Transfer Tape is a clear polyester film with a cross-linked acrylic adhesive. It offers excellent temperature resistance, UV stability, and clean removal, even after prolonged use. It is commonly used for transferring printed films such as Poli-Print 4030 from their liner to the textile surface, ensuring proper alignment and a smooth finish.
