A multitude of design possibilities
The Ri-Jet C50 Ultimate Slide & Tack film is suitable for large-format digital printing, allowing you to print a wide range of designs, whether that be your brand logo, company details, or showstopping graphics. Long-lasting colour durability
Available in a 50-micron premium cast white gloss finish, the film has been UV stabilised to withstand outdoor weather conditions. As this film is predominantly used on vehicles, it is important for the film to have a long life expectancy, which Ritrama has nailed with this product. The Ri-Jet C50 Ultimate Slide & Tack film has an external product stability of up to 10 years, meaning your vehicle wraps will remain vibrant for years to come.
Easy application
Ritrama is known for its innovative self-adhesive products, that offer quick and easy application processes. The reason why this film aids faster wrapping is that the adhesive is comprised of a permanent grey low-tack solvent-based acrylic featuring a low grab adhesive system, this gives all graphics the ability to move and float over a substrate until sufficient pressure is applied to create a permanent bond. This is designed to allow a one-man installation possible even on large sections which is ideal for rapid turnarounds
Even in the first 15 minutes of applying the film, the adhesion remains very low, and the film does not bond to the vehicle fully. This allows individuals to position the film easily, being able to remove any defects before it completely adheres to the vehicle.
Flexibility
Only 80 µm thick including laminate, the Ri-Jet cast film is extremely flexible and can adhere to most automotive painted surfaces. Along with the low-tack repositionable adhesive, the film can be applied on rivets, deep grooves, and convex surface areas, offering a seamless finish to provide professional and high-quality results.
Product Guidance
To achieve the most outstanding printing results, you need to make sure the appropriate ICC profiles or printer settings are used. Once you have printed your design onto the film, you should allow it to dry for a minimum of 36 hours to allow any solvent outgassing. Ritrama recommends laminating the film after it has fully cured with Ri-Lam C30, to further protect the design and increase the durability.
The Ri-Jet C50 Ultimate Slide & Tack film should only be applied dry, on clean and degreased surfaces at a temperature above 15°C, for a flawless finish. If you need to apply the film on a curved surface, or deep channel, then the film should be heated at 45-50°C so it can stretch and adhere to the surface easily. If you apply it to a curved surface, make sure to stabilise the film at 90°C where it has been stretched.
